CommunityRe-Entry Service Provider’s Network(CRSPN) |
Our mission…. Formed in 2003, a group of agencies and individuals working with formerly incarcerated people came together and shared a vision to improve public safety, use public funds more efficiently, and give the formerly incarcerated the necessary network and services to support their successful re-integration into family and community life. Out of this gathering, CRSPN was formed. CRSPN’s Mission,“To develop a coordinated system to serve formerly incarcerated people,” is being carried out for the second year . CRSPN has evolved into a network of resources and working committees to address issues such as policy and advocacy, employment and resources.

Testimony Romal Cooks from Prison Fellowship has the courage to speak from the heart and share his knowledge. He is a shining example of how resources and the help of individuals can turn lives around. Romal has a Class A license and has been driving for Valley Transportation Authority for the past 4 years. He is also married, a homeowner, a foster parent in the community, a Real Estate Investor and works with Prison Fellowship. “After spending 7 years in jail I decided that I was tired of my way of life. I decided to choose role models that would help with my developing a state of pride. I focused on myself to get myself straight because I was no good to anyone until then. I concentrated on letting go of unhealthy friendships and surrounded myself with good men and women. It’s important to get something out of resources presented to people. That’s why CRSPN is important – they can provide up-to-date resources for people like me”. ---- Romal Cooks |
